UnikLearn Autism Vocational Training and Internship

Autistic individuals who are highly skilled but face challenges in finding employment, now have the opportunity to take part in UnikLearn Autism Vocational Training and Internship. The pilot programme is organised by Start-up Brunei, an organisation which provides help services to those who intend to set up a business.  It is open to individuals aged 16 above and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 

 Dayang Rasyidah binti Samah, Head of Project, in a media conference held at the Design and Technology Building in Kampung Anggerek Desa, among other things explained that the purpose of the training is to help autistic individuals overcome challenges by providing education, teamwork and multi-tasking skills. The programme which is expected to run over a period of 6 months is open for registration. Registration can be made at SPRK Life skills Centre in Kampung Jangsak, during office hours.
