Haj courses held simultaneously in the four districts will benefit intending pilgrims as preparation to the holy land of Makkah. Intending pilgrims are also hoped to follow the courses provided. This was explained by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs while taking a closer look at the haj course at the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and Pengiran Anak Puteri Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah Religious School.
Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom hoped that the 12-week course can be attended by all intending pilgrims so that they can gain knowledge and information as preparation for their pilgrimage to Makkah. This is also true for courses in the Tutong District at Pengiran Anak Puteri Norain Religious School and two centers in the Belait District as well as one in the Temburong District.
19 facilitators and 5 supervisors comprising officers, mosque imams and religious teachers, experienced retirees from the Islamic Studies Department, Mosque Affairs Department, Islamic Dakwah Centre and Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College were appointed by the Haj Management Department.
