The public need be alert on the danger of fire and equip themselves with fire prevention knowledge. Awang Hamdani bin Sidek, Tutong Fire Station Officer highlighted the matter during the Fire and Emergency Training for Operation 50 at Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School in Tutong district.

Awang Hamdani emphasised that it is important for the public to acquire knowledge in fire-prevention and fire-fighting techniques. In the wake of an undesirable incident, public cooperation is much needed to ensure the firefighters are able to take rapid and orderly action.

 The training involved several agencies including Fire and Rescue Operation 'E' Branch, Tutong Fire Station, the Royal Brunei Police Force, and the Paramedic team from Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in the district.
