​Brunei Darussalam will celebrate the National Family Day on the 6th of next month. A number of activities have been lined up on the said day, including the Masjidku Makmur Negara Berkat programme and the Harmonious Family Recreation and Cycling at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien in the capital.

 To support and further enliven the celebration, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports with the Department of Economic Planning and Development welcome businesses to organize a sale in April until the 1st of May, in accordance to the Price Control (cheap Sale Price) Regulation 2012. The sales in conjunction with the National Family Day will not be deducted from the yearly quota of 4 times a year for cheap sale price. To facilitate the sale participation process without notifying to Department of Economic Planning and Development, companies are advised to use Exemptions under the said regulations, such as the Purchase-with-Purchase and Buy 2 Get 1 Free strategies.
