After Sunat Hari Raya Aidilfitri Prayers, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam consented to receive in audience state dignitaries and diplomats from friendly nations and to receive their junjung ziarah. The audience and junjung ziarah took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

 Also present were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh 'Ab Rahaman;

 His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi'atul 'Adawiyyah;

 His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

 His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel;

 His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah;

 Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Bini Hajah Faezah; and

 His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

 Also in attendance were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam; as well as His Majesty's grandchildren and other members of the royal family.

His Majesty's guests included Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet Ministers, Members of the Legislative Council, Deputy Ministers, diplomats from friendly nations, Permanent Secretaries and senior government officers and their spouses. At the ceremony, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri as well as other members of the royal family received Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings.

 The presence of foreign envoys from friendly nations is proof of the country's involvement in the international arena. His Majesty's meeting with the state dignitaries and envoys from friendly nations in person, reflects the close friendship and long-standing relations. The opportunity to be with His Majesty portrays the monarch's sincerity in strengthening goodwill and friendliness.

Meanwhile, Istana Nurul Iman will be open to the public for three days starting today, from 10 in the morning until 12 noon and again from 2 to 4 in the afternoon for the public to convey their Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to their beloved monarch and members of the royal family.
