In the afternoon, 14-thousand 519 people from all walks of life visited Istana Nurul Iman for the audience and Junjung Ziarah with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri and members of the Royal Family. 

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received in audience and the Junjung Ziarah from the male well-wishers. The ceremony was also attended by His Majesty's sons and brothers; His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel; His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah; and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah as well as other members of the Royal Family.

Istana Nurul Iman's 'Open Palace' concept is a platform that helps to enhance solidarity and strengthen relations between people from various levels of the community. It is also a huge opportunity to express gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and a high appreciation for the strong leadership of the people's monarch.

The close attention, articulate service and facilities extended to visitors from all walks of life is a testimony of His Majesty's deep concern towards the masses in sharing the joy of the happy occasion.

Meanwhile at another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha received in audience and the Junjung Ziarah from the female well-wishers. Also in attendance were Her Majesty's daughters and sister. Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah; Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah; Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Norhayati; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam.

The joyous Hari Raya celebration at Istana Nurul Iman is not only felt by the country's citizens and residents, but also by expatriates working in the country as well as tourists. Their visit to Istana Nurul Iman during the three days it was open will certainly be a sweet memory for them due to the special treatment that was given.
