​The Nostalgia Autoshow and Gathering 2018 has gathered over 150 classic vintage car owners and enthusiasts from the country as well as from Sabah, Sarawak and Indonesia. Various car models from the 50's to the 90's were showcased during the event with the aim to encourage the people to appreciate classic cars. Organised by the Nostalgic Motor Vehicles Association, the Nostalgia Autoshow and Gathering 2018 was held yesterday morning at the Open Area in front of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District.

 

The event was officiated by Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Among the cars that were showcased include the 1957 Austin A-35 that still uses the crank start.

 

Also attracting the people's attention was the 1970's Volkswagen Kombi T-2, the 1962 Chevrolet Impala, the 1980 Toyota Corolla D-X and the 2-door Morris Minor.
