Seven compound fines and 2 warnings were issued to drivers for offences under the Road Traffic Act during a roadblock operation at the Jalan Bukit area in Lamunin.

The offences included driving vehicles which are not roadworthy in terms of safety, modifications to vehicles and failure to carry their driving licenses. In another operation held at the Muara/Tutong Highway, 16 compound fines and 4 warnings were issued. The offences included driving with an expired driving license, driving without a valid driving license, making modifications to vehicles and illegally tinting the vehicles windows and windscreens. The operations were to ensure road traffic laws are always adhered to by road users and to reduce the number of road accidents.
