Accompanying His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri is His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Also accompanying His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri are Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal UmiKalthum Al-Islam and Yang AmatMuliaPengiranIndera Setia DirajaSahibulKaribPengiranAnak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar. Welcoming His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri on arrival at Sultan Abdul Halim Airport, AlorSetar were His Royal Highness Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddinibni Al-Marhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman and Her Royal Highness Sultanah Maliha binti Al-MarhumTengkuAriff, the Sultanah of Kedah Darul Aman.

His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were also greeted on arrival by Duli Yang TeramatMuliaTengkuSarafudinBadlishahibni Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah and Duli Yang TeramatMulia Che Puan Muda Zaheedabinti Mohamad Ariff, the Raja Puan Muda of Kedah; Yang TeramatMulia Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri Tunku Abdul Hamid Thani ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Badlishah, the TunkuBendahara of Kedah and Yang AmatBerbahagiaDatin Seri DiRajaPuan Seri Dato' Nora binti Abdullah; Yang TeramatMulia Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri TunkuPuteriIntanSafinazbinti Al-Marhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, the TunkuTemenggong of Kedah; and Yang TeramatMulia Dato' TunkuShazuddinAriffibni Sultan Sallehuddin, the TunkuLaksamana of Kedah; as well as Yang AmatBerhormat Dato' Seri Haji Mukhriz bin Tun Dr. Mahathir, the Chief Minister of Kedah and Yang AmatBerbahagiaTokPuanNorzietabinti Zakaria.

Also present to greet His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri was His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohd Taha, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia, and Datin.

A DoaSelamat was then recited by SohibusSamahah Dato' Sheikh Fadzil bin Haji Awang, the State Mufti of Kedah Darul Aman.

His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were then invited to board a motorcade to a renowned hotel in AlorSetar where His Majesty and Her Majesty would be residing throughout the duration of the visit.
