233 graduates of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB have completed their Master's Degree in Religious Teaching, Bachelor's Degree in Religious Teaching, Post Graduate Diploma in Religious Teaching and Higher Diploma in Religious Teaching. The institution's 8th Convocation ceremony will take place this Monday. To ensure the smooth running of the event, a full rehearsal was held yesterday morning at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the KUPU SB Council. Also present were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs; and Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, the Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB.

 In an interview with RTB, Pengiran Siti Katijah binti Pengiran Haji Sulaiman, the Director of KUPU SB's International and Public Relation Office shared on the plans which will be implemented by the institution. Among them is opening more cooperation opportunities with overseas universities in fields pertaining to teaching and Islamic education as well as research, personal development and others. The institution also hopes to seek more opportunities that enable the students to gain multiple skills.
