Welcome For 70 Rover Scouts

Tutong District Scouts Association with the cooperation of the Tutong District Office welcomed 70 male and female Rover Scouts from the ASEAN countries and Timor Leste.
Awang Haji Azmi bin Haji Abdul Rahim, the Acting Tutong District Officer said the 3-day camp is hoped to build the self-confidence of Rover Scouts especially in facing challenging situations as well as instilling mutual respect amongst them. The ceremony continued with the presentation of souvenirs to the representatives of each country. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Umarali bin Esung and Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Ramli bin Haji Lahit, Members of the Legislative Council. During the activity, the Scouts will participate in several activities geared towards to the sustainable development of Brunei Darussalam especially through the four components of the programme namely exploration, community work, culture and the environment.
