​'Sejarah Wadah Pencetus Minda' was the theme for the Pehin Jawatan Dalam Trophy History Quiz 2018 competition. The competition aimed to encourage students to gain interest in history and provide awareness to the young generation on the importance and its relation towards the development of nation and country.

Four participants competed in the Final round which was held yesterday morning at the Radio Television Brunei in Kampung Sungai Akar.

Muhammad Firdaus Bin Sudirman from Pengiran Isteri Hajah Mariam Serasa Secondary School in Muara emerged as the champion in the competition. Champion received 7-hundred 50 dollars, prize, participating certificate and challenge trophy as well as the Pehin Jawatan Dalam Cup. Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as the Acting Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
