BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Brunei Darussalam continues to give due attention on the role of youth. Youth are the country's vital assets that should be properly guided, as they are the next continuing generation that acts as a pillar of the country's strength. This was stated by Dato Seri Setia Haji Abd Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the Dakwah Academy 2 point 0 launch and orientation. The function took place this morning at the Islamic Dakwah Centre.

According to Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz, as the next continuing generation that acts as a pillar of the country's strength, youth should be productive, competitive, visionary, dynamic, and capable.  They should also be pious as well as knowledgeable and without setting aside the teachings of Islam, in line with Wawasan 2035.

The program aims to raise awareness on the importance of propagating Islam in a correct and proper manner.  48 people comprising registered dai'e from the Youth Dai'e Volunteer's Committee Body and members of the public are taking part in the program, which is divided into 6 sessions.  The program will begin on the 19th of this month to the 26th of May this year.  Also present was Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Raes of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College.
