​The communities in Brunei are very considerate and caring towards the country's orphans and children of underprivileged families in the count. Yesterday afternoon, 38 such children in Kampung Panchor Mengkubau National Housing area received donations in the form of school necessities.

The contributions were presented by Pengiran Hajah Zabaidah binti Pengiran Haji Kamaludin, the President of Brunei Darussalam Female Graduates. The donations were in support of the Drop Box Project's Back to School Campaign organised by the Women's Bureau of Kampung Pancor Mengkubau National Housing Consultative Council. According to Dayang Hajah Mardini binti Haji Mohd Noor, Chief of the Bureau, the Drop Box has been used since 2016 with the intention of helping orphans and less fortunate children in acquiring schooling items and distributing them among the needy in the coming years.
