The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB moves a step forward by offering minor course programmes that started since 2016. The formulation of the new programmes is in line with the community needs specifically the stakeholders in primary and secondary schools. In this regard, KUPU SB has re-evaluated the programmes and updated them as new ones. This year KUPU SB, is offering minor courses to Year 3, Semester 6, Bachelor of Religious Teaching Programme. This matter was stated by the Raes of KUPU SB in a media conference yesterday afternoon.

Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, RAES of KUPU SB said the students are given the opportunity to choose 15 minor programmes. It is aimed to fulfil the country's need towards realising the Wawasan 2035 through education by producing intellectual, skilled, accomplished and competitive graduates. Apart from that, it is also hoped to develop the students' potential and capability not only in the academic field but also in community welfare according to their interest and potentials.

Among the offered courses are Islamic Finance, Islamic Guidance and Counselling; Islamic Education Technology and Multimedia; Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah Studies; Entrepreneurship in Islamic Education and Fiqh Usrah. These courses are managed by three main faculties namely Faculty of Education, Faculty of Syariah and Faculty of Usuludin and taught by lecturers and experts in the related-fields from the local universities.
