​His Excellency Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea and wife, Her Excellency Kim Jung-sook and delegation, arrived in Bandar Seri Begawan late yesterday afternoon for a three-day state visit.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome His Excellency and wife on arrival were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs as the Minister-in-Attendance and Datin; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism and Datin; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Datin; and Her Excellency Yoon Hyun-bong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam.

Before leaving the airport, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Korea and wife walked past a Static Guard mounted by members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The official welcoming ceremony for His Excellency and wife's official visit to the sultanate will be held tomorrow at Istana Nurul Iman.
