KDB Daruttaqwa Sets Sail to Three Destinations

The KDB Daruttaqwa vessel set sail yesterday morning for deployment to Qingdao, People's Republic of China; Busan, Republic of Korea and Changi, Republic of Singapore. The deployment marks a significant milestone for the Royal Brunei Navy as a reliable maritime partner in the region on both bilateral and multilateral platforms.
Present was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). The deployment was led by Commander Haji Edy Jofren bin Pehin Datu Penglima Retired Colonel Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, RBN Commanding Officer of KDB Daruttaqwa. The deployment covers KDB Daruttaqwa's participation in various events and exercises including Multi-national Naval Activities of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PLA Navy, ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting Plus Expert Working Group on Maritime Security Field Training Exercise 1 & 2 and International Maritime Defence Exhibition Asia 2019. KDB Daruttaqwa is scheduled to return to Muara Naval Base on the 20th May.
