Registration Session For Year 5 Students

KAMPONG RIMBA

 

​303 Year 5 male students from Al-Falaah School enrolled at the Rimba Arabic School for the new school term 1441 Hijrah/2020. The registration session for the new students was held yesterday morning at the school in Kampung Rimba National Housing.

 

Present to take a closer look at the registration session was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Following the registration session, parents, guardians and students were briefed on the school's academics, student affairs, discipline and co-curriculum.

 

A muzakarah or discussion session was also held for sharing information, issues and suggestions for the benefit of all parties in further enhancing the student's skills and education qualities. Also present was Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Last year, 576 Arabic School students nationwide sat for the Primary School Assessment or PSR. From the figure, 566 students obtained grade A to C for each subject, which is 98.26 percent. The achievement improved by 1.14 percent compared to the 97.12 percent achieved in 2018. Four Arabic Schools nationwide achieved 100 percent excellence in obtaining grade A to C for each subject. Meanwhile, 173 students accounting for 30.03 percent obtained 5 'A's.
