Members of the public are encouraged to visit the 4th Garage Sale at the Brunei Tennis Club in Berakas organised by the Society for the Management of Autism Related Issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei in collaboration with NBT (B) Sendirian Berhad in conjunction with the 9th World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) celebration today, (April 2) and tomorrow.

The proceeds from the sale will be used to finance three of its centres in Kuala Belait, Kampong Mata-Mata and Kampong Jangsak.

NBT is sponsoring 500 pieces of commemorative t-shirts for the 9th WAAD celebration and allowing SMARTER to collaborate with them to launch the WAAD celebration during their NBT road show at The Atrium of Times Square Shopping Centre.

The T-shirts will be on sale during the celebration.

The theme for the celebration is 'SMARTER's MOVE for Autism.'

Since it was launched in 2008, SMARTER Brunei has been the leading organisation in Brunei in celebrating WAAD every April 2.

The two-day sale starts from 10am to 10pm (today) and 7am to 6pm tomorrow.
