The distribution of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's personal gift of dates to all Muslim citizens and residents in Brunei Darussalam is not only enjoyed by all citizens and residents but it is also distributed to Muslim foreign nationals in the country.

This year, some 156 metric tonnes of 'Ajwa' dates were distributed where each recipient received one small container of 300 grams of Ajwa dates. The foreign nationals who received His Majesty's personal dates expressed their gratitude for His Majesty's deep love and care.
