82.6 percent first doses of COVID-19 vaccine were given to children aged 5 to 11. Meanwhile, 58.8 percent second dose vaccinations were given to this aged group. This was stated by the Minister of Health at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar stated that 71.2 percent of the country's population have received 3 doses of the vaccine.

 

Meanwhile, 380 new cases have been reported. Therefore, the total number of cases reported in Brunei Darussalam to date is 151,161 cases. There is no case categorised in Category 5 and there are currently 2 cases in Category 4 which are those who require oxygen assistance and under close monitoring. A total of 99 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 148,384 cases. The total number of active cases are 2,554 cases, in which 8 cases are currently treated in hospitals, whereas 2,546 cases are currently undergoing home self-isolation.
