His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah says that in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Civil Service Day Celebration, the Monarch is pleased to announce that Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam as the Tokoh Jasawan Negara or National Meritorious Figure.
In a titah in conjunction with the Civil Service Day celebration this morning, His Majesty touches on several matters, including service transformation, civil service integrity, and detailing the preparation plans for the ministries.
His Majesty in the titah underscores that within these three decades, it cannot be denied that various challenges have been faced to test the resilience of the civil service.
On leadership, His Majesty in the titah says that every leader must be wise in pioneering work potential, specifically in digital technology potential as the basis for a service transformation that has major impact.
His Majesty in the titah says that an amendment to the 'General Orders' has been carried out and will be enforced shortly.
His Majesty in the titah states, the country also emphasises the capacity building and competency of each employee with the necessary skills, knowledge and basic values. This year, HIs Majesty says that a new award is introduced in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Civil Service Day celebration.
Also touched on in His Majesty's titah was the big impact and contributions of Al-Marhum's leadership legacy.
​His Majesty ended the titah by expressing appreciation to all civil servants.
