The Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) recently paid a visit to the Embassy of Republic of Korea in Brunei Darussalam with the aim of building and promoting understanding on the potential fields of cooperation.

The President of PPPMB, Dr Haji Abdul Latif Haji Chuchu, met with the Korean Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, H. E. Cho Won-myung, and held a fruitful discussion on possible areas of cooperation, including ICT, Medical Treatment, Green Energy such as solar as well as Hi-Technology agriculture.

One of the key points raised was Brunei and Korea working together in the agriculture sector, as Korea is investing heavily on high-tech agriculture to benefit food security.

Korea also places great importance on ensuring quality food as well as sustainable agriculture that does harm to the human body in the long term. In this regard, Brunei and Korea also sees potential in Brunei-Korea cooperation in various field such as medical industries/treatment as well as ICT.
