MoE Releases June 2016 Results for GCE 'A', 'AS', 'O' Levels and IGCSE

The Examinations Department of the Ministry of Education (MoE) yesterday released the June 2016 results for the Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A', 'AS', 'O' Levels and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), according to a press release issued by the MoE.

 

Out of the 242 candidates who sat for 'A 'Level, 155 achieved at least one 'A' level. Meanwhile 72 candidates achieved at least two 'A' levels.

 

For the GCE 'AS' Level, out of the 1,771 candidates, 1,645 achieved at least one 'AS' level. Those who achieved at least two 'AS' levels stand at 1,351.

 

A sum of 2,350 candidates (excluding those only taking one or two subjects) sat for the 'O' Level taking three to nine subjects. Out of 401 candidates taking five to nine subjects for the 'O' Level, 127 achieved five 'O' levels credit and above.

 

Result slips can be obtained at their schools, while private candidates can get it from the Examinations Department during office hours.

 

Candidates who wish to improve their results will be able to register for the October/November examination session as 'Late Entry' with a Late Entry fee for every subjects taken.

 

Forms and information regarding the registration can be obtained at the Examinations Department. The closing date for the 'Late Entry' registration is on September 3, 2016.
