A local man yesterday contended a charge of retaining stolen property against him in court and is out on bail of $2,000 or in one local surety pending the case's next mention.

Adib Sufi bin Mohd Asri allegedly kept a stolen car sometime between August 16 and September 1, 2016 at Jalan 11, Simpang 63 in Perpindahan Lambak Kanan.

Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina bin Pehin Dato Ustaz Haji Badaruddin fixed September 17 for further mention.

Prosecutor Azmeena Mohiddin conducted the case.
