His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning took part in a horse riding excursion in conjunction with His Majesty's 76th Birthday Celebration. Organised for the second time by the Royal Brunei Polo Association, the horse riding excursion began at the Jerudong Park Polo and Riding Club and ended at the The Empire Brunei.

 Upon arrival, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam as the Patron of the Royal Brunei Polo Association was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Sanggamara DiRaja Retired Major General Pengiran Haji Ibnu Basith bin Pengiran Datu Penghulu Pengiran Haji Apong, Chairman of the Royal Brunei Polo Association.

His Majesty was introduced to the Royal Brunei Polo Association's veteran polo players.

Also present were His Majesty's son, brother and daughters:

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah;

- Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah, President of the Royal Brunei Polo Association;

- and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah.

 The Monarch then led the horse riding excursion starting from Field Number One of the Jerudong Park Polo and Riding Club, heading towards Jerudong Beach.

 His Majesty's horse riding hobby is also shared by His Majesty's children. Established in 1976, the Royal Brunei Polo Association has over 50 members.

 The excursion also passed by the Jerudong Beach Market area.

Onlookers at the market did not miss the opportunity to record His Majesty's excursion.

 The horse riding excursion then headed towards The Empire Brunei.

 His Majesty then proceeded for a Breakfast.

Also in attendance were:

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

- and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah.

The presence of His Majesty and members of the Royal Family at the horse riding excursion acts as a platform for the people to do physical activities towards a healthy lifestyle.
