President Thongloun Visits Paklay’s Agricultural Production Areas

(KPL) On August 3, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Thongloun Sisoulith and his delegation visited some grass root production groups of Bomlao-Phakeo development village, Paklay District, Xayabouly Province.

 

The delegation was welcomed by Xayabouly Governor Phongsavanh Sitthavong, local senior officials and local people.

 

During the visit to the people's agricultural production area, Mr Thongloun who is also President of Lao PDR and his delegation went to monitor the cassava and maize plantation areas, and also called on a cattle raising group related to the grass cultivation.

 

The delegation also visited a cassava flour factory and a bio-fertilizer factory of China Sui Company located in Nam Song Village, Paklay District.
