A Filipino citizen was charged with an offence under Section 36, Immigration Act Chapter 17 for re-entering and staying in the country after being deported.

53-year-old Gaira Mansurani was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment and a $1,000 fine. The sentence took effect on 28th January 2023.
