Ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, people are busy making preparations to celebrate the Day of Victory after a month of fasting Ramadhan. Among items that are in high demand are furniture, curtains and home decorations to further beautify the home, and making it ready to receive guests.

Preparation to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri is not just buying clothes, sweets and food, there are also those who chose to change curtains and furniture to decorate their house according to their taste and creativity.

Furniture shops and home decor shops recorded an increase in sales during the Hari Raya season. Discounts and promotions offered attract customers to shop. A number of shops also extend their operating hours and during the last night of Ramadhan.

During the festivities, Muslims in the country are reminded to be modest in celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
