Gleneagles JPMC made history by securing first place in the prestigious Clinical Excellence category at the 9th IHH Quality Summit, held recently in Mumbai, India. Competing against over 80 leading hospitals from 10 countries, Gleneagles JPMC was recognised for its innovative quality improvement project, Operation Clean Cut: Reducing Surgical Site Infections.

The project was developed in response to a rise in surgical site infections in cardiac surgery patients, particularly those undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. The award celebrates JPMC's ongoing efforts in their commitment to deliver exceptional healthcare services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and fostering sustainable progress through clinical governance and innovation.
