BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Are you a young entrepreneur aged 25-35yrs? Do you have the drive, energy and enthusiasm to develop an enterprise with social impact? Then the Australia-ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program (A2ELP) is looking for you!

The A2ELP is a fully funded scholarship that will bring together ten social entrepreneurs from South-East Asia and five from Australia to take part in a series of innovative learning and development opportunities in 2017. Participants will travel to Melbourne and Sydney for an eight-day program in March 2017 where they will take part in a range of workshops, site visits, masterclasses, peer learning sessions and networking events to refine and develop their ideas to develop a social enterprise with impact! They will also be provided with online training, support and opportunities for collaboration both before and after the residential program.

On announcing the program, the Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Nicola Rosenblum said “The A2ELP is a fantastic opportunity for a young Bruneian entrepreneur to learn from Australia’s most inspiring and talented social influencers, and to showcase the creativity, passion and drive that exists here in Brunei. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to collaborate with likeminded individuals across ASEAN and Australia, refine their project ideas with the guidance of experts, and pitch their proposal to the Australia-ASEAN Council Board. This program is designed to ensure participants’ future success, and I look forward to seeing strong applications from Brunei.”

Applications for A2ELP 2017 are now open online until 11 January. Find out more: http://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/asialink-dialogues-and-applied-research/programs/Emerging-Leaders-Program
