NEW DELHI, INDIA

 

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India. The bilateral meeting was held at Hyderabad House, New Delhi.

 

 During the bilateral meeting, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Republic of India discussed current issues and exchanged views on regional and international concerns including bilateral cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of India.

 

Prior to leaving Hyderabad House, His Majesty was invited to sign the Visitors' Book. Also present during the meeting were Yang Behormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
