Borneo Table Tennis Championship Launched

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA

 

In conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's National Day 2016, Borneo Table Tennis Championship was officially launched yesterday by Pengiran Anak Md Sofian bin Pengiran Anak Haji Ibrahim, Acting Deputy Director of Youth and Sports at the Indoor Stadium, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.

 

The championship was divided into two categories namely Men Open Category and Boys and Girls Junior Category.

 

Six teams including two invited teams from outside the country participated in the championship.

 

The championship is played in the round robin format.

 

Five teams participated in the Men Open Category which are - Dark Horse of Belait District, TKS from Sarawak, Max Team, ASBPPC and BDTTA.

 

While Boys and Girls Junior Category was participated by three teams namely BDTTA, TKS and Extreme Table Tennis Training Centre from Kuching, Sarawak.

 

The three-day championship will conclude this Sunday.
