​The abuse and trafficking of illegal drugs is one of the causes of the social illnesses that is becoming more contagious and it has effects that can damage individuals, communities and even the country. Some of the factors that contribute to the increase in drug abuse cases include social, economic, cultural and personal factors. The matter was included in the FRIDAY SERMON titled: 'Memperkasa Masyarakat Masa Depan Tanpa Penyalahgunaan Dadah' or Empowering Future Society Free From Drug Abuse. The sermon also shared the solutions to reduce drug abuse cases in the community through early education and awareness of the dangers of drug abuse among family members, improve law and enforcement as well as improve the social and economic conditions of the community.

According to the imam or prayer leader, an excellent society is a society that is able to create a safe, healthy, and full of blessings. Indeed, the future society that is free from drug abuse is a society that has the following characteristics:

First, Obedience to Allah SWT in every aspect. Second, Justice and well-being, which is behaving fairly, honestly and responsibly in all aspects of life. Third is Ethics and Morals, which is living with high ethics and morals in accordance with Islamic teachings. And Fourth, Education and Knowledge. Always seeking knowledge and heightening the capacity to develop intellectually. Therefore to produce the future society that is free from drug abuse certainly requires a concerted effort from all levels of society.
