Timothée Chalamet's ex Eiza González weighed in on his romance with Kylie Jenner after the couple walked their first red carpet together at the 70th David Di Donatello award ceremony in Italy.

Eiza González's reaction to ex Timothée Chalamet dating Kylie Jenner is a complete surprise.

The Baby Driver actress, who had a brief romance with the actor in 2020, gave the couple her stamp of approval, liking an Instagram photo of Timothée, 29, and Kylie, 27, at the 70th David di Donatello award ceremony in Rome May 6.

The snapshot showed Kylie posing in a black floor-length dress, gold statement earrings and a black and gold clutch, with Timothée's arm wrapped around her back while wearing a black velvet suit adorned with a white flower. The outing marked the first time the pair—who have been romantically linked since 2023—walked the red carpet together.

Three years before his relationship with Kylie, the Wonka actor was spotted packing PDA with Eiza, 35, during a steamy vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. At the time, a source told E! News that the stars, who were joined by another couple, "couldn't keep their hands off of each other and had many romantic moments."

However, the relationship appeared short-lived, with a source telling E! News just months after their getaway that Eiza hadn’t seen much of Timothée since.

But Timothée's romance with Kylie has been anything but a fling. While they have not spoken out publicly about their relationship—as Kylie told British Vogue in 2024, “Privacy is so important to me in life”—they have made several public appearances together where they haven't shied away from showing their affection.

In fact, Kylie has been spotted with Timothée at numerous awards shows throughout the last year. In March, the pair shared a smooch at the 2025 Oscars, where the A Complete Unknown actor was nominated for Best Actor.

The Kardashians star—who shares kids Stormi Webster, 7, and Aire Webster, 3, with ex Travis Scott—also accompanied the Oscar nominee to a Los Angeles Lakers game on April 30, where they kissed in the front row.

And if that wasn’t proof enough, Timothée's mom Nicole Flender has given the couple her blessing.

"I have to say she’s lovely," the matriarch told New York Magazine's Curbed in an interview published April 21. "She’s very nice to me."
