The spirit of teamwork was once again evident in Kampung Kapok as village residents came together to make preparations for the 'Makan Tahun', 25th December morning, reflecting the strong solidarity.
The event required participation from all levels of society, reviving an old tradition that is on the risk of becoming forgotten. It also strengthened ties between the older and younger generation, instilling the spirit of togetherness within the community.
The 'Makan Tahun' was organised by the members of the Bukit Tempayan Pisang Valley Communal Farm Cooperatives. The initiative sought to rekindle long-standing traditions while highlighting the unity and cooperation among the village community.
