To increase the internalisation of the teachings of Islam as well as to express love for Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, the "Muallaf Berselawat Untukmu Rasulullah" ceremony was held on 28th September morning. Attended by 150 Muallaf, the ceremony was organised by the Muallaf Development Division (Muallaf Empowerment), Islamic Da'wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs. It took place at the Islamic Da'wah Centre.
In attendance was Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of Islamic Da'wah Centre. The ceremony among other things, aimed to encourage new converts to grab the virtues and benefits of bersalawat and to emulate the morals and personality of the Prophet Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam. The ceremony was enlivened by a talk titled "Basmalah dan Kerisauan Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam".
