Several areas under the Berakas Tank catchment is experiencing water supply disruptions and low water pressure.
The Public Work Department, announced that affected areas including Berakas Camp, Skim Tanah Kurnia Rakyat Jati Lambak Kiri, Kampung Lambak Kiri, part of Jalan Pasir Berakas, Jalan Utama Berakas, Jalan Terunjing Baru, Lambak Kanan Industrial Area and surrounding areas. The Department is currently conducting investigations to determine the cause of the disruption.
The cleaning of the Nakhoda Ragam Water Tank also will be carried out on 2nd of July, from 8 in the morning until the works are completed. Following that, some of the affected areas might experience low water pressure especially areas of higher ground. The affected areas are Pekan Kuala Belait, Los Tanjung and its surrounding areas.
The cleaning of the Tanajor 'A' and 'B' tanks will also be carried out on 2nd July, from 8 in the morning until the works are completed. Areas affected are Kampung Tanajor in Mukim Labi and its surroundings.
