His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, 1st October morning received in audience the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, and hosted a Luncheon. The ceremony was held at Qashr Al-Meezaan. His Excellency Gan Kim Yong and delegation are in the country for a two-day visit to discuss and explore collaboration opportunities in the areas of trade and investment with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, towards further deepening economic cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore. Brunei Darussalam is also expected to host the 11th Young Leaders' Programme this year, an important bilateral platform where the youths of both countries have the opportunity to forge constructive cooperation towards becoming well-equipped future leaders.
Accompanying His Excellency were His Excellency Laurence Bay, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, and Mr. Adrian Ng, Director-General (Asia, Middle East and Africa), Ministry of Trade and Industry. Also present, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
