17 participants completed the 18th Basic Tourist Guide Course which was conducted for 10 days starting 30th March 30. The course is one of the prerequisites for individuals who wish to become licensed Tourist Guide in the country. The certificate presentation ceremony to the participants took place on 04th April morning at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
The certificate presentation was officiated by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The course was held to enhance and strengthen the skills of tourist guides in providing quality services and meeting the requirements of the standards that have been set, ensuring that the information provided by each tourist guide is accurate and correct as well as opening up job opportunities.
