Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia have reaffirmed the continued commitment to strengthening existing bilateral defence and military relations. Both countries also aim to enhance military cooperation through various bilateral and multilateral platforms, as well as explore new areas of collaboration. The commitment was discussed during the courtesy call to Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence by Yang Berbahagia General Datuk Haji Malek Razak bin Sulaiman, Chief of the Defence Force, Malaysian Armed Forces.
This morning, Yang Berbahagia made an introductory visit to the Ministry of Defence. Upon arrival, Yang Berbahagia was welcomed by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF.
