314 officers and staff of the Ministry of Education including teaching staff from schools and higher education institutions received the Long Service Medal, PKL in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 79th Birthday Celebration. The Medal Presentation Ceremony took place on 6th July afternoon at the Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
The medal presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education. Also present was Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Deputy Minister of Education. The ceremony serves to motivate and boost the morale of the Ministry's personnel to consistently uphold high standards of work quality and strive for continuous excellence in performance.
