His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, on 10th November afternoon received in audience His Excellency Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, who is in the country for a three-day working visit. The Audience Ceremony was held at Istana Nurul Iman. His Excellency's visit is aimed at further strengthening cooperation as well as explore new areas of collaboration for the mutual benefit of Brunei Darussalam and the State of Qatar. Diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the State of Qatar was established on 2nd October 1991. Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohammad Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
His Majesty received in audience the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. Accompanying His Excellency was His Excellency Abdullah Hamad Ali Al-Adham Al-Marri, Ambassador-Designate of the State of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam.
