His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman on 11th May left for the People's Republic of China for an Official Visit which will be held from the 11th to 15th of May 2026. His Royal Highness' visit to the People's Republic of China is at the invitation of His Excellency Han Zheng, Vice President of the People's Republic of China.
Accompanying His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah; Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman; and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa' Raihaanul Bolkiah.
Prior to departure, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar.
Also present at His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Hangar to bid farewell to His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Cheteria; Cabinet Ministers; a Member of the Privy Council; the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force; and the Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness were welcomed by Her Excellency Hua Chunying, Member of the CPC Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Excellency Chen Shaochun, Ambassador-designate of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam, and wife. Also present to welcome Their Royal Highnesses were Awangku Muhammad Saifuddin bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sallehuddin, the Chargé d' Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to the People's Republic of China, and spouse.
