A Malaysian was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court for four offences under the Excise Order 2006.
45-year-old, Chan Nyuk Ho was fined $27,000 Brunei Dollars or 27 months imprisonment in default. All the contraband namely cigarettes and alcoholic drinks were seized to be destroyed. Meanwhile, cash amounting $1,100 Brunei Dollars and $164 Malaysian Ringgit were confiscated for further action.
