Two companies in Tutong District were issued compound fines for offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021.
SYARIKAT JAFRIMA SENDIRIAN BERHAD and SYARIKAT SWEE WAH ENTERPRISE SENDIRIAN BERHAD, were fined $2,000 Brunei Dollars respectively. Both companies were given 7 days to settle the fines or in default, the case can be brought to court.
The public, companies, and business owners are reminded to always maintain environmental cleanliness by not throwing, piling or leaving garbage in public places.
