Brunei Darussalam and Thailand continue to enjoy strong and close relations at all levels and under the ASEAN framework. Therefore, the Royal Thai Armed Forces, play an important role in fostering the relations through regular visits, exchanges and cooperation. The matter was stated by His Excellency Akrapong Chalermnon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam at the Reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day. The event hosted by the Office of the Defence Attaché, Royal Thai Armed Forces took place at a hotel in Berakas, 11th May night.
Present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. His Excellency added that relations between the two parties will continue to flourish, and help contribute to maintaining peace and stability in the ASEAN region.
