The implementation of the 'Makkah Route' initiative benefits the country's intending haj pilgrims for this year's haj season. Through the initiative, intending haj pilgrims undergo the Saudi Arabian immigration inspection process while still in Brunei Darussalam prior to departing for the Holy Land, thus facilitating their arrival in Saudi Arabia.
The smoothness of the travel process and the movement of pilgrims can clearly be seen, as a result of a more organised and systematic coordination through the implementation of the initiative.
The 'Makkah Route' initiative also increases the comfort of the country's haj pilgrims.
