The New Convert Basic Guidance Scheme, which was held for 14 days, aimed to guide new converts in refining and improving their knowledge of Islam, especially in the fields of faith, worship and morality. The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation of the Scheme were held simultaneously in all four districts.
In Brunei Muara District, the Ceremony was held at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Kampung Pulaie, 13th May afternoon. Certificates were presented by Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abd Rahman, Acting Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre.
For Tutong District, the ceremony was held at the District Da'wah Branch Office. The Scheme was also hoped to increase the internalisation of Islam in daily life.
