The Lowering of the Brunei Darussalam Giant-Sized Flag in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration was held on 13th October afternoon. The event was held at the open area of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda Bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development as Co-Chairman of the Royal Birthday Celebration National Committee. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council. The ceremony marks the end of flag hoisting across the country in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th birthday celebration.
